I think in 2009 there was a windower addon that did it.

I think it was just his idle set, I used to run around in level 1 RSE until I started fighting until lockstyle.

There was an addon, there was also things that kept you from blinking when engaged.

This video was uploaded in 2006 but judging from the ridiculous strat, it was recorded a while before that. At 1:49 you can see the wing damage(295-331), which is pretty close to the damage from the 2009 video. The difference in damage is due to the different levels of shell, MDB, INT, etc. The current kupo fafnir does 400+ wing damage with shell 4, which is still considerably higher than the retail damage was.

I've observed similar damage even without Shell 4. I've had Shell 2 many times (healing on a 60 WHM alt) and it's still only really hitting for 400ish regardless. Seems like the base damage is too high overall while the "max" damage is too low.
